I started searching for a particular truck and Gilroy GMC and one other dealer had it in stock. After starting communication with both dealerships it became apparent very quickly Gilroy was the right choice. Kevin was great to work with and managed to get everything set up in advance to eliminate a long. Wait after a long drive. Once there the process took about an hour. Drove out to look at a Tahoe advertised for $43,500, only to be told there was an additional $1,700 charge for a security system that was supposedly “mandatory” and couldn’t be removed. Funny how that mandatory charge wasn’t included in the advertised price. If the actual price is $45,200, just advertise it for $45,200 instead of wasting people’s time.
This is also illegal by the way, according to California Vehicle Code § 11713.1 that says dealers must include all mandatory costs in the advertised price, apart from specific exceptions such as taxes, registration, and certain documentation fees. It was easy to make a last minute appointment. They were welcoming and helped determine was services I needed without pushing anything. The only issue was the timing. I was told it would be done around 1:30 and it was done at 3:15. We had obligations in the afternoon and it made us an hour late unfortunately. We would have planned differently if we knew in advance.

I arrived at the dealership and thought I had an appointment. Although there was a glitch in Scheduling,, they took care of me. I was told it would be a four hour job and it was. I was able to take a great 5 mile walk on the Uvas trail (Starts at the Gilroy sports Park approximately 0.25 miles away from the dealership. Bought a USED vehicle back in December from them after trading in my truck. the sales person who helped me out was great and all. However 2 months into to ownership I realized that my truck had missed matched plates. Contacted the dealership to sort out and it is now over half a year and nothing. Still on dealership plates . Will be filing complaint with DMV.

I had a great experience with Gilroy GMC this past week. They charged me significantly less than Precision Auto of Morgan Hill quoted me for the same services. They also informed me I was overcharged for things done previously by my former mechanic.

Horrible experience, never called to give an update on the truck, when i picked up the truck they left the part they replaced on my truck bed leaking oil. Part they replaced was covered under warranty and could never give me a rental car after it was at the shop for a whole week. Horrible service, I wouldn’t recommend. Best bet is going to salinas gmc
I had a bad experience buying my car there. Unfortunately, I received poor service from Alejandro, the finance manager. I believe he may have been in a bad mood, as I was simply handed the documents without any thank you for my purchase or any congratulations. On the other hand, Leo, the person who showed me the car, was very kind.

We were told that they were not able to remove any of the add ons even though legally we aren’t required to pay for them if we don’t want them . They will be reported for refusing to remove the fees and telling us they are “mandatory”. Which is a scam and fraudulent. The staff’s communication was terrible. I had to initiate calls to get any updates about my vehicle. I also had to deal with the car rental place because they claimed the dealership wasn’t responding.

I was having the hardest time finding a Buick anywhere—it felt like all the Buick dealerships were disappearing or something. Leo showed me the Acadia, and I ended up loving it way more than the Buick Enclave. I honestly didn’t even realize they’re made by the same company. Either way, I really enjoyed the whole buying experience here. Would definitely recommend.
Bad experience with their services They were supposed to check my brakes at 20,000 miles, but they told me they didn't have a mechanic available at that time. Then, when I went back at 40,000 miles, they told me the warranty was over, and they were supposed to change the brake fluid. They charged me for it, but they just left the brake fluid bottle in the backseat, a costly bottle, $45, plus they charged me for labor that they never performed.
Worked with Erik and Leo and they were awesome. This dealership really changed from the last time I was here. I came when they were under the previous ownership, and boy what a difference an ownership makes. The first time I came I felt pressure, rushed, and lied to. I came a year later when I heard they were under new ownership, and it was completely the opposite. This time I felt like they listened, explained everything and gave us a good deal. I would highly recommend this dealership to friends and family for sure!

Then he got me approved for a newer truck with less miles and my payment went up 20 dollars! I have never bought a car and I have no credit and he got me a really good deal. The experience was one of the worst business experiences I have ever been a part of. I had a certified pre-owner GMC (33k miles) serviced for a “common” coolant control value issue and told it was going to be a week or two. Three weeks later, a new radiator, leaky oil screw, and asking corporate to intervene and get the parts ordered, I got my car back, only to fond that it was mouse-infested with droppings in my center console, back seat, kids cup holders and back floorboards.
